Noreda Nyiramukombe 64 years, resident of Kameme village, Rusoroza Parish is a mother of five. She lost her husband with whom they had separated due to domestic violence some twelve years back.

The situation worsened when their two-bedroom house was washed away by heavy rains in 2020 during the covid 19 pandemic. These spent some good months staying in a devised temporally house in their compound until WOOVC interfered and constructed for Noreda a semi-permanent house where they currently reside.

To Elia Akandwanaho the lastborn son and the only one attending school in the whole family, attending a good school like Brain Giant Nursery and Primary School was just a dream which WOOVC has turned into reality.

Elia’s elder brothers and sisters left home for informal employment in Kampala. Elia’s school fees and scholastic materials are all covered by WOOVC and he’s assured of quality education. Elia wants to become a doctor in future.
