Rev. Emmanuel Mutabaazi
Chairperson, Board of Directors & Co-Founder
Diploma in secondary Education (Arts), Diploma in Human Resource Management, Bachelor of Education (Arts), Masters in Divinity.
An ordained priest and high school head teacher. He states that the worst experience in his years of teaching was sending kids home because they hadn’t paid their fees and then returning to school empty-handed. Therefore, he is a strong advocate for the education of children who have no one to pay their school fees.

Mrs. Loy Sengoma
Member, Board of Directors
A strong advocate for women’s rights and a women’s representative at the local sub county.
She has spearheaded several campaigns to promote women’s welfare and financial inclusion especially through village savings and loans associations.

Dr. Jonathan Atukunda

Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, Obsterics and Gynecology Resident
A medical doctor from low social economic background with great passion for children’s education. He is currently a resident doctor at St.Francis Hospital Nsambya, a top and high quality referral hospital in the Ugandan Capital Kampala specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Until 8 months ago before joining Residency he worked with Medical Teams International (MTI) Uganda as Medical Officer in-Charge for Rwamwanja refugee settlement overseeing clinical services in diverse humanitarian communities. He has also been a volunteer medical officer with Hospice Africa Uganda (HAU).
As a compassionate youth, he met and worked briefly with Dr. Prudence Barrett Nelson in 2013 at Matanda refugee transit center, a poverty-stricken refugee arrival point in Kanungu district before he joined medical school.

Rev Christine Kembabazi
Treasurer, Board of Directors
Diploma in ICT, Bachelor of Arts. She is a former radio presenter and an ordained priest, a strong advocate for community empowerment, gender equality, spiritual transformation and education

Atamba Holiness
Member, Board of Directors
Ms. Atamba Holiness is a Principal Health inspector for the local town (Kihihi Town Council). She had previously served as a health assistant and as a health inspector of the same town council.
She is currently the Vice chairperson, Board of Governors, Nyakabungo Girls’ secondary school, Treasurer for Kanungu District Environmental Health workers, General Secretary Kihihi United sisters, a Rotarian from RC Kihihi where she served as RTF chair, among others.
Ms. Atamba Holiness is a great mobiliser and loves doing humanitarian work.

Mugisha Peter
Member, Board of Directors
A senior Production officer with the local district, Kanungu. He worked with HIJRA as Field coordinator, Project manager and later Camp manager, He was also a volunteer with Uganda Red Society. He is the Chairperson Board of Governors, Nyakinoni Secondary school and a member of the school management committee, Nyakinoni primary school.
Peter is also a Rotarian and the current Club Treasurer, RC Kihihi. He loves, and has been involved in a lot of humanitarian work. He is a strict disciplinarian, an excellent resource mobiliser and possesses vast knowledge and experience in project management and implementation
